There are two spots in the Open a Path for Greenway mission that can completely stop your momentum. The first one is pretty intuitive once you know what to look for. The second one? That one had us stumped for way longer than we'd like to admit. Here's exactly how to get through both.
Part 1 — The Conference Room Doors (The Vacuum Cleaner Hint)
When you enter this section, Greenway literally points out what he calls the "glorified vacuum cleaner." That's your hint — the game is telling you the solution without spelling it out.
- Locate the open office behind you and activate the vacuum cleaner kiosk to call the robot and open the adjacent office door.
- From there, move through the A/C duct at the back of the room.
- Cut through the bathroom, grab the key card.
- Head through the office to the balcony, scale the wall, and shimmy across to the other side.
That part flows naturally once you spot the kiosk. The second part is where most players — including us — hit a wall.
Part 2 — The Door That Won't Interact (Where Everyone Gets Stuck)
The game clearly shows you're supposed to interact with the top of the door. You walk up to it. Nothing happens. You try again. Still nothing. If you spent way too long on this one, you're not alone.
The fix isn't obvious at all: loop around to the back of the office building. From that position you can use your Q-Watch to unlock the door and activate the kiosk. The front approach simply will not work.
Full Route, Start to Finish
- Spot the vacuum kiosk in the open office behind you
- Activate the kiosk → vacuum opens the adjacent office door
- Move through the A/C duct in the back
- Cut through the bathroom → grab the key card
- Through the office → out to the balcony
- Scale the wall → shimmy across to the other side
- At the stuck door: loop to the back of the building
- Use your Q-Watch from the back angle to unlock the door and activate the kiosk
That's the full sequence. The second interaction point is the one the game doesn't make obvious — but once you know to go around back, it's straightforward.
