Designed out of the need to avoid overheating, sleep, and locking issues. The UPLVL Clamshell/Tepee stand offers two clamshell stand styles. The classic clamshell (closed-display mode stand) stand is for everyday use, and the tepee stand is specifically made to allow for maximum airflow while gaming on an external monitor. The clamshell opening measures .90” allowing enough clearance from most gaming laptops. When in clamshell mode, the stand contains two additional areas for an iPad, iPhone, or any other tablet/smartphone.
